This site presents to fans a once in a lifetime opportunity for fans to film and interview Iggy and the Stooges performing the seminal punk rock masterpiece RAW POWER at the All Tomorrow’s Party’s Festival on September 3rd, 2010. Six lucky fans will be chosen by way of a video submission contest to join director Joey Carey on location at the Stardust Theater at Kutchers’ Country Club in Monticello, NY. The 3rd annual North Park Music Thing – Music & Media Conference is a 2-day music event, which takes place August 13-14, 2010 at the historic Lafayette Hotel in San Diego, CA. All registrants will learn about the music business during panel discussions, mentor and demo review sessions. NPMT will feature speakers who have been involved in local, regional and national music. The keynote address will be given by music industry veteran Kim Fowley. Following the workshops, NPMT will showcase over 100 acts from Southern California on 14 stages. The John Lennon Songwriting Contest (JLSC) is presenting a rare opportunity for musical artists and songwriters–an all expenses paid trip to Los Angeles to write a song with mega hit songwriter/producer Toby Gad (Beyonce, Fergie, Robin Thicke).
